Past performances
Residencies
Silver Starlite has enjoyed several lengthy residencies at North Jersey establishments, performing on a regular basis—usually monthly—over several years. Residencies allow the band to perform and enhance their skills on an ongoing basis and increase their following; they serve as a convenient and regular venue for fans new and old to see and hear the band, enjoy a good meal, and maybe dance; and they provide the restaurant or club with consistent, known, popular entertainment to bring in a reliable crowd every month. It’s a win-win-win.
While we aren’t currently in residence anywhere, we’re actively looking for venues to host us. We’ll keep you updated on our progress here and on our Facebook page.

94th Bomb Group • Fairfield NJ • Until 2006
For many years, the band appeared monthly at the 94th Bomb Group, the World War II themed restaurant located beside Essex County Airport in Fairfield, New Jersey. The band usually wore khaki Army-style uniforms and always included a number of WWII-era hits in their sets. Combined with the restaurant’s military decor and the aircraft traffic right outside the building, it made for a compelling and immersive experience that remained popular until the restaurant was sold and closed in 2006.
Pavinci Italian Grill • Hopatcong NJ • 2006–2023
After the 94th Bomb Group closed, Silver Starlite found a new home at Pavinci in Hopatcong, New Jersey. Located on the shore of Lake Hopatcong—they even had their own dock so you could arrive by boat and tie up right at the restaurant—Pavinci was a popular destination for dining and dancing. Being removed from the WWII nostalgia atmosphere of the 94th Bomb Group gave the band an opportunity to enlarge their repertoire with newer styles of music. Silver Starlite’s 17-year run there was almost legendary, and typically drew fans not only from New Jersey, but also Pennsylvania and New York.
Mohawk House • Sparta NJ • 2007–2009 and 2013
For several years, Silver Starlite had concurrent residencies at Pavinci and at Mohawk House in Sparta, New Jersey. The rustic architecture and high ceilings at Mohawk House provided lively acoustics for the music, and of course the delicious food was always popular—with the band as well as the audience!
