The has been performing for weddings, dances and community events for over 25 years. This wonderful 20-piece big band features two vocalists and has kept to that authentic "Big Band formula" with just the right combination of instrumentation and many original charts. The band features many of the area's top musicians, who have played with such headliners as Bob Hope, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Ray Noble, Lionel Hampton and many others.

With the revitalization of swing music, the Silver Starlite Orchestra has become a real crowd favorite with both young audiences and seniors alike. Our award-winning "Salute to America" program has been very well received at numerous Veterans Day and Memorial Day concerts throughout the Metropolitan area. One review called our program "patriotism at its peak". In addition to performing music from the World War II era, the band dresses in WWII uniforms.
