The Silver Starlite Orchestra was founded in 1978 as an extension of the music program at Caldwell College, Caldwell, NJ, under the direction of Dot Cacchio. Since 1980, this group has been known as the Silver Starlite Orchestra. Many of the current members have been with the band since it started.
